We do not use Level II quotes in our trading. It’s too fast and it gives me a headache. (I’m old) :-)
Pat watches price and volume on the daily, hourly, and 30 minute charts. Sometimes he’ll go down to 10 minute.
But, those time frames are used more to identify a better entry point. Sure, we’ll take a glance at a shorter timeframe in an effort to determine if we should sell some into strength. But, we don’t want to gauge that decision on T&S as it relates to real-time order flow. Price bars are quite adequate for what we do.
