How to adapt to varying market conditions?

Hope you’re doing well.
I love your content and trades but I have a thought I would like to share with you.
I am coming from Day trading stocks and options for three years now . Couldn’t find any real success with it.
I am switching now to swing trading stocks due to a lot of factors one of them is being tired of screens and stress. My issue with swing trading is the markets crashes and drops from time to time.
I mean I am sure that swing trading in March/April/May was tough this year for swing traders .
So how to adapt ? How to make money in such times ?
Is there always different stocks/sectors to follow during such times ? I would like to have your advice Pat.
