George Stickel asked 6 years ago GM – I am a newbie to the site and was comparing Sunday’s Key List with the video on how to use the Key List. The Video version had comments in the Trading Notes Column and was sorted by Long/Short Base. I found this very helpful in understanding your approach to placing these stocks on the list. I am not sure if Sundays list was brief because of the Super Bowl or if there has been a change in the approach. Just checking … TY

Yes. There has been a change to the Key List since that video was put out. I just spoke with Pat and he will create a new video this afternoon, most likely after the market closes, outlining the change. Essentially, we've added video commentary and coaching to the daily Key List. I'll post a Pat's response here later today.

Pat – thank-you for your quick reply and video. I would like to revisit the comments section on the Key List … a bit forward for someone just joining the group … but others may agree. At my stage of development using the IBD approach, I find it much more beneficial to have the comments articulated vs the video review as I can map your thoughts to the IBD MarketSmith charts. For example, on Monday’s Key List under AMZN you wrote “Watch Action” and today you mentioned that you took a position and made 40points. Great for you but no lesson learned for me. Please know, I am not trying to be critical but rather to lay the correct foundation of expectations going forward. If this is against your preferred approach, I respect that … but not my cup-of-tea for an educational site. Please know I make this request out of respect for your approach and time you devote to the membership.
Pat – I appreciate your getting back to me again. I am open to giving the Twitter feed a try and can see how it could be a more beneficial approach.
