REIT trading question

Hi Pat, A REIT popped up on the William O'Neil screen in MarketSmtih this morning. I see that the data regarding fundamentals is included in the chart just like a regular stock. Does the data represent for a REIT what it does for a typical stock? Do you trade REITS ever, and if so, do you trade them differently? I had good luck with IIPR in the past, but that is when I had no idea what I was doing! Best, Erin
