Seeing a lot of setups but earnings date are very close

Hey Pat! I'm seeing a lot of stocks setting up, but these stocks are set to report earnings very soon, maybe this week, and some are even 2-3 days from now. How to deal with these and what if the setup/bases are really clean and simple? should we take the trade with small position? what should be the priority in these situations.
