As you can see, Pat is ready to rock it out with Mike Webster who has been with Investor’s Business Daily since 1997. He began in the research department and was promoted to Portfolio Manager for Bill O’Neil in 2000. Mike traded for the firm until 2019 when he moved to Head Market Strategist for IBD. Mike’s prowess for picking stocks made him the perfect choice for Investor’s Business Daily’s SwingTrader product and Leaderboard team. Mike developed MarketSmith’s Pattern Recognition rules along with Growth 250. He invented the IPO base and the rules on how to trade it. Mike also developed IBD’s Composite Rating, the 3 and 6-month Relative Strength indicator and was on the team that created Market School.
