Hi Pat,
I Need some clarification please on the Twitter initial buy Posts.
Recently, in this choppy market I’ve noticed your initial buys are 25%. Now this confuses me because rules of proper pyramiding say your initial buy is 50% then 30% then 20%. only on a clean and simple breakout.
So what’s going on? Are you stating initial buy is 25% of your account size? and then your add on’s are 20% of your initial buy? Or are you stating that 25% initial buy instead of 50%. So your going smaller because of the choppy market?
Again, thank you for all your teachings. This market has been difficult, but because of your teachings I have rules that are keeping me alive. I still get FOMO watching the key list every night and I end up buying only to be selling a few hours later for protection. When really I could just wait for easier money. But if these rules are keeping me alive in a choppy market – I can see these rules making me thrive in a healthy market.
Thank you sir.

When the market begins to trend again and we get out of this choppy environment, we'll look more to starting positions at 50%.
Right now, while things continue to be whippy, we error on the side of caution and begin positions with smaller purchases.
While this does mean we'll likely not be able to build into a full position, it's a better and safer strategy given the current market conditions.
