Adding on current position

Hi Pat, Let say we have a good trending stock in our portfolio and the stock forms another base which could be an opportunity to add on. What is your rule on adding on position? Do you repeat the pyramiding rule? If not, how much would you add and where would your stoploss be? Many thanks!   Shoy
