Bouncing off the 50 day question

Pat, I am more of a position trader than a swing trader and would like your thoughts on how I should  prepare to identify and buy a stock when it quickly bounces off the 50 day moving average as NFLX did last Wednesday.  I have limited time during the trading day to monitor stocks and I saw the opportunity too late.
