Hi Pat, great content. You’re very consistent with the methodology and that’s something that super important in this business. Thank you. Do you have any data or did you ever come across any data on how to trade breakaway gaps on earnings plays? I’m curious if they had a method for trading these at IBD. I assume MarketSmith wouldn’t update earnings on that same day so I guess we have to utilize another scanner to have these types of trade ideas hit our radar? Do you or the team have any thoughts on these topics?   thanks again danny

Thanks! Appreciated the analysis. I have to do a better job of prepping for the earnings winners the night before or morning of earnings release and have them on my screens to catch the opening range breakout . Usually I’m late and buying higher, increasing the risk when wrong.
