Brokerage Recommendation

Hi Pat; New member. You probably get this question a lot. I searched and couldnt find an answer. I'm guessing that you use TD Ameritrade as your brokerage service. Why do you prefer them? Also any other recommendations on good brokerages with low commissions and responsive trading tools. Thanks for the info.

Hi Julian,
Welcome! We won't recommend a broker, but we'll tell you who we use. I have traded on the Thinkorswim platform dating back 20 years. Pat has used Interactive Brokers for as long or longer. It's really all in what you prefer and in many cases in what you begin using at the start. Everyone has what they like and will likely be quick to tell you it is the best. You just need to find what works best for you and then, of course, allow time to become accustomed to using it.
