Hi Pat,
In How to Make Money in Stocks, I believe Bill O'Neil says to watch out for four or five distribution days in a span of four weeks to indicate a market top. Could you show us these distribution days on a chart in the context of today's market conditions? Looking at a chart of the Dow, would I have been correct to start moving to cash after identifying 1/16, 1/18, 1/23, and 1/29 as distribution days? I'm not sure if 1/29 and 1/30 would be considered distribution days because although they exhibit above-average volume, it doesn't seem significantly above-average.
Thanks!
