Questionsdaily vs weekly time frame

Pat, It appears you use  the 8 ema and 20sma  on the daily charts vs. using a 10 period  sma on the weekly timeframe.  Do u feel u r missing some of the  bigger gains  by using a 10 week ma. In all of my studies of can slim and Bill Oniel he always referenced the weekly charts.  You seem to focus on daily and shorter timeframes . Thanks for ur thoughts.

Good afternoon Robert,
Great question. I use the daily chart for a more "precise" entry. However, I always look at weekly charts for a "bigger view." Frequently we'll find a better, earlier entry on the daily and it will indeed have a volume surge on that daily bar. Of course, this can translate into good volume on the weekly chart. I do like larger timeframes because it does take the "noise" out of the chart. But I can almost always see a better, tighter entry on the daily. Naturally, I must have leading groups/leading stocks with clean & simple patterns and volume surges. I thank you!
Have  a great, safe weekend..

Sincerely
Pat
