Hi Pat. I have decided my fear of losing money is greater than my desire to make money. I tend to be afraid of putting on a full position even when the set up is good (clean and simple).
When I say big position I don't mean irresponsible. A full position for me would be 12-15%.
So what ends up happening is I latch on to a winner but I don't buy enough to really have an impact on my account.
I started learning to trade to make more money and potentially improve the future for my family, yet thinking about the family and our future is the very thing that creeps in to my mind and creates the fear of losing.
Do you have any psychological insight or words of advise to help someone with this type of limitation.
Thanks
