You mention a lot that you will or will not take a potential position on a breakout above a key price "in a good market" and "on good volume".
1) How do you assess in real-time during the day if you consider the market "a good market" that day and whether or not a buy and should be taken? What intra-day things do you look at to decide if the market is still moving bullishly or do always make that decision before the trading day?
2) You also mention that positions could be taken on "good volume". Again how do you assess volume in real-time during the day? Do you estimate what the end of day volume will be and then decide to take that trade at that moment or do just take the trade if the breakout price is exceeded... and then decide whether to hold the position at the end of the day based on total volume during the day?
