How to manage Adding or Selling into strength

Hi Pat, Owen & team, Thanks for all you do. Appreciate all the videos and feedback, they are great. Also, I love the humor and joy that all of you bring, it's very contagious. My question is how to manage adding to existing positions vs selling into strength. once the price is above the line and we purchase the initial position, do we add the 2nd position as soon as the price keeps increasing (say 1-2%)? or do we add on a pullback to the moving avgs ( 8ema or 21 ema)?  How do we differentiate adding vs selling 20% of the initial position?
