Key Lists

Pat, I have a maintenance question.  Joined in November, and just trying to soak up as much info as possible.  I currently download the key lists into trading platform nightly (I use ThinkorSwim) and try to study the reasons behind their respective selections. My question is this: I am accumulating a large number of older, “Key List”, lists.  You probably see where this is headed? Now, I have 2 months worth of Key List, stocks. Am I to go through all these every night (obviously not)?  But unless I missed It somewhere, how do you, “cull the herd”, so to speak? Especially, without a market correction. Hope this make sense?   Thank you so much for this site. Happy New Year – to you & your family! Rick Procasky

Hi Rick,
Pat and I were discussing this only yesterday afternoon. You want to be Kevin O'Leary when it comes to past Key Lists; "They are dead to you." Now, we all know that maybe some of those past Key List stocks may actually trigger at some point, but we can't be concerned with that. We are very simple creatures and can only watch a limited number of products at any one given time. Our philosophy here at MissionWinners, the philosophy that has worked for Pat for over three decades, is to focus on the now, focus on what is; and focus on a manageable list of stocks that have the potential, today, to trigger into a long position.
