Life of a trader

Hey Pat! First want to say thank you for all the work you put in along with you Owen. I have learned so much already in the 3 or so weeks I've joined. This is going to be a more personal question, but I'd like to know 1) when you started trading for a living and quit the day job and 2) advise on direction I should go. I am 26 with a good corporate job and an account size of about 50k. I am all in on trading. is it realistic to only trade here in a couple of years? I know this is a different question but figured I'd ask from someone who has been through it! Thank you and God bless!
