Hi Paul,

If you are asking how many positions we will typically hold, that range is generally 5 to 8. However, there have been a number of opportunities recently and while my own holdings are within that range, I know Pat is managing a dozen positions at this time. Remember that Pat has been actively trading for over three decades, he's a master trader and can easily manage a greater number of positions. For me, having about 15 years in the active trading arena, I'm more comfortable managing five or six.

Now, when any of those 5 or 6 "trades" begin to trend and pull away from the pivot point, I will consider them more an "investment." In my mind, every position begins as a trade and has the ability to turn into an investment if the stock/ETF acts right. We are trend traders; we look to get into a position and ride it as long as is feasibly possible.

Hope that helps. I know I've made some assumptions based upon your question "title."  ;-)

Make it a Great Day!

Owen
