Hi Pat,
I have 11 stocks in my portfolio plus 4 that I've taken good profits on and are now down in size ("runners" - sort of care and maintenance). All but 1 is currently profitable. I also run a portfolio of UK stocks but I tend to only need to be involved with them pre noon here in Scotland.
Whilst I'm only about 60% invested I'm reluctant to add anything more until some of my newer buys play out but will be looking to add to the existing newer positions when appropriate. The 60% might indicate that I'm undersizing my new positions.
At this stage would you still be adding new names or ignoring even very good setups until the portfolio is trimmed in terms of number of positions?
Thanks,
Jim
