Pat,
I initiated a position in LVGO on June 16 and on TSLA on June 30 and have captured great gains on around 50% on each stock. I’ve made great sales into both stocks locking in solid profits. Simultaneously, I just finished John Boik’s book where he studies the big moves captured by O’Neil and Roppel. Wanting to emulate this, and seeing the historic state the markets are in, is this a time to focus on letting these TMLs run? If it is, is it still ok to use Moving Averages as a guide of when to sell. I know both Roppel and O’Neil were big proponents of the 50-day. Having around a 50% gain remaining in my current positions, what strategy would you suggest? Lastly, if I get a drop to the 20 day, but it rebounds on strength, would it be ok to buy back some shares that may have been sold as it lost the 8EMA? Thanks again for all the guidance and help you provide here and on Twitter.
