Hey Pat
just wondering if you also use MarketSmith for finding stocks to short?
if so how would you build your criteria and set it up on MarketSmith?

Hi Ben,
Pat does not short stocks; he will, however, go long an inverse ETF in the event a pattern emerges. We haven’t had a market to fit that scenario in recent years as the downturns have been more ‘pullbacks.’ I will pass this along to Pat to see if he has any further comments, but I’m reasonably certain that he’ll say, unless we enter an extended time of bear market conditions, he’ll remain the eternal bull.
