Hi Pat Having followed you on Twitter for the last couple of weeks I just signed up to your VIP service as I am keen to learn your trading methods. I have now watched all of your videos and have noticed you often refer to stocks that 'we own', however I can't see any specific reference to when you bought each stock. I know this is an educational service rather than a tipping service but I wonder if you make your VIP members aware when you are personally buying into a stock? Regards Ben

Good afternoon, Ben.

Good to hear from you! I really want this to be a service that educates. In-depth analysis of charts. Entry points. Exit points. And WHY they are entry or exit points. In the VIP site I actually send out a "list" of stocks I am keying on. This site just started last Sunday night. So there is not a lot of "history" of buy or sells. However, if you look closely you will see where I talked about stocks I will be buying just BEFORE I buy them. Case in point, $AMZN, $TSLA. Both were noted that I was buying. It's also important to note that I gave the "heads up" before I bought. I also will post where I am selling some for profits or selling to limit losses. I don't want to make this a site where the mantra is "do what Pat's doing." But I think it's useful for learning to actually see a person buying/selling "real time" so they can refer to the chart and get a grasp of the trading situation as it is happening. By "watching" I hope it speeds up a person's learning curve. Some of these have worked very well. Some have been sold for a small loss. I hate losses. But I want folks to realize losses are "part of the game."
I know I just shared a lot there and I hope it helps. It's good to watch someone as they do a task, as you know.
Finally, a big benefit of being a VIP is getting "the list." These are the stocks I personally am focusing on. I do this not to create a "buy list' but to help folks train their eyes/mind on WHAT to look for in a chart & stock.   I hope this helps. Please ask more questions. Glad you're part of the "team!"
Sincerely,
Pat Walker

Hi Pat

Thank you for such a swift response. I didn’t realize the website was so new, it’s very nice to know I am in from the start. I am certainly not in this as some kind of easy way to make money buy just copying your trades. I do however agree that watching your trading action and developing an understanding of why you made each buy/sell is going to be invaluable to my learning process. My idea scenario would be for me to one day be able spot set ups without your help, although I appreciate this will take time. As for losses, I totally understand. I have read both of Mark Minervini’s book and realise that you can make losses on 40% of your trades (Or more) and still be very profitable.

Ben
