Stops on Swing Trades Vs Longer Bases

I am new the the site and it's not quite clear to me how you set stops.  I noticed that you release alerts on the twitter feed, but how do you decide where to put the stops on those trades. Netflix from today for example?  Do we use 7% stops for swing trades as well?  Thanks,  Nate
