Trade Management/ Stop Loss

Hi Pat, I was wondering how do/would you place stop losses if you had to step away from the market for a few hours 1/2 times a week; as would happen as I'm working 9-5 GMT. I don't want to give back any profits, so I'd imagine it to be above my buy point minimum. Scenario where a trade has been working for a few days and current price has left the entry price, I imagine a SL below prior day's low might be a good place to take some off. But what if price is still oscillating not for from entry point. Would appreciate if you could show some examples on charts. Many thanks!

Thank you Owen and Pat! As usual, great clarity, very much appreciated!
Apologies for the repeat question though; didn't notice the question actually got sent through.

You are quite welcome! Sorry for the delay; we got a little behind in answering and questions really stacked up.
