Volume increase screening question

Pat, I'm a new VIP and I greatly appreciate your teaching approach.  I've already learned a lot through your daily feed and viewing archived videos. I have a question regarding volume.  Since a buying decision is dependent on both the price and volume being at key levels, do you screen your stock lists for high volume during and after market hours to see where the money is flowing?  I'm committed to buying stocks that have high volume upswings and want to know how to properly monitor and evaluate them.
