What is too wide a spread?

Hi Pat and Owen,   I was searching the existing questions to learn more on what is considered too big of a spread (bid & ask) when looking to buy a stock, specially in the 1st hour of the day. If you have existing videos on this topic , happy to look at those , just couldn't find them. I searched "spread" in questions search bar. Thanks for your help!    -Ramiro
