When to re-enter stocks (for example, AMD today)

Hi Pat, first of all, thank you for this service. I feel like I've already gotten my money's worth for the month by reviewing all the videos you've made. My question is regarding AMD today.  Following your Twitter feed, it looks like you initially bought in due to a break in resistance w/ good volume.  But an hour or so later, you exited because it fell below the buy point.   But now was we come up on the end of the day, AMD has picked up a net gain of over 6%.  Looking at the 5 min chart, it does look like volume was slightly above average when it picked back up after the initial drop. Is there ever a situation where it would be good to re-enter this kind of set-up? Or is this the kind of move where we're happy to let pass because there was too much volatility?

Makes sense, thank you for the explanation Pat. I remember on Twitter you mentioned market volatility as well. It all seems more cohesive now.
