My daughter makes great pies, cakes and pastry because she follows recipes. Now, she’s also a chemical engineer, so she’ll “personalize” the recipe from time to time. You can do that when you know what you’re doing. First, you must learn the basics; do it for a little while. Understand the do’s ‘n don’ts of it all.
